Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and Lumenology ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our Bible study application and services. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the application.
Intellectual Property
The application and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lumenology and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works, publicly display, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, without our express prior written consent.
User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this provision.
Subscription and Payment
We offer subscription-based access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to pay all fees in accordance with the applicable subscription plan. Payments are processed through Stripe, and you agree to comply with Stripe's terms of service.
Free Trial: We may offer a free trial period for our premium services. At the end of the trial period, your account will automatically be charged for the subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds after the trial period has ended. By continuing to use our services after the trial period, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which it will not renew.
User Content
Our application may allow you to create and store personal notes, highlights, or other content. You retain all rights to your content, and you are responsible for all content you create or upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content for the purpose of providing our services.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the application:
- In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate our company or employees
- To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the application
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the application
- To use the application for any commercial solicitation purposes
Disclaimer of Warranties
The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the application, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lumenology and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the application.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lumenology is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the application after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
