Then David got up from the ground, washed and anointed himself, changed his clothes, and went into the house of the LORD and worshiped. Then he went to his own house, and at his request they set food before him, and he ate.

And now he has accused her of shameful conduct, saying, ‘I discovered that your daughter was not a virgin.’ But here is the proof of her virginity.” And they shall spread out the cloth before the city elders.

When Moses came down from the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes.

Then they all tore their clothes, loaded their donkeys, and returned to the city.

In that day seven womenwill take hold of one man and say,“We will eat our own breadand provide our own clothes.Just let us be called by your name.Take away our disgrace!”
