They stood at their prescribed posts, according to the Law of Moses the man of God. The priests sprinkled the blood, which they received from the hand of the Levites.

So the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the LORD to follow the LORD and to keep His commandments, decrees, and statutes with all his heart and all his soul, and to carry out the words of this covenant that were written in this book.

So the service was prepared; the priests stood in their places and the Levites in their divisions according to the king’s command.

He said to me, “Daniel, you are a man who is highly precious. Consider carefully the words that I am about to say to you. Stand up, for I have now been sent to you.”And when he had said this to me, I stood up trembling.

As he came near to where I stood, I was terrified and fell facedown.“Son of man,” he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”
