לְאֹם

and He declared to her:“Two nations are in your womb,and two peoples from within you will be separated;one people will be stronger than the other,and the older will serve the younger.”

The nations rage like the rush of many waters.He rebukes them, and they flee far away,driven before the wind like chaff on the hills,like tumbleweeds before a gale.

All the nations gather togetherand the peoples assemble.Who among them can declare this,and proclaim to us the former things?Let them present their witnesses to vindicate them,so that others may hear and say, “It is true.”

For behold, darkness covers the earth,and thick darkness is over the peoples;but the LORD will rise upon you,and His glory will appear over you.

Righteousness exalts a nation,but sin is a disgrace to any people.
