The channels of the sea appeared,and the foundations of the world were exposedat the rebuke of the LORD,at the blast of the breath of His nostrils.

A thousand will flee at the threat of one;at the threat of five you will all flee,until you are left alone like a pole on a mountaintop,like a banner on a hill.

Your sons have fainted;they lie at the head of every street,like an antelope in a net.They are full of the wrath of the LORD,the rebuke of your God.

The foundations of heaven quake,astounded at His rebuke.

Riches may ransom a man’s life,but a poor man hears no threat.
