And behold, the dove returned to him in the evening with a freshly plucked olive leaf in her beak. So Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.

All the stars of heaven will be dissolved.The skies will be rolled up like a scroll,and all their stars will falllike withered leaves from the vine,like foliage from the fig tree.

I will take away their harvest,declares the LORD.There will be no grapes on the vine,nor figs on the tree,and even the leaf will wither.Whatever I have given them will be lost to them.”

As for those of you who survive, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies, so that even the sound of a windblown leaf will put them to flight. And they will flee as one flees the sword, and fall when no one pursues them.
