Likewise, I want the women to adorn themselves with respectable apparel, with modesty, and with self-control, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,

I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.

So they said to one another, “Let us not tear it. Instead, let us cast lots to see who will get it.” This was to fulfill the Scripture:“They divided My garments among them,and cast lots for My clothing.”So that is what the soldiers did.

Otherwise, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? Look, those who wear elegant clothing and live in luxury are found in palaces.

And as He was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became radiantly white.
